I have practiced yoga for four years and completed my 200 hour YogaWorks teacher training in March of 2011.
I was first drawn to yoga during grad school as a form of exercise. I was hooked after my first class and quickly discovered the many benefits of yoga beyond just physical health and fitness. Today, I mostly appreciate the balance and mindfulness yoga brings to my life. I am passionate about sharing yoga with my students and helping each individual explore the benefits yoga can offer in their life. I practice and teach a strong style of yoga focused on building endurance, strengthening the body, and cultivating mind, body and breath awareness. And I believe that yoga is simply better with laughter and music.
Namaste.
When I’m not on my yoga mat, I spend my days working for a marketing firm, and my spare time singing, hiking, reading, volunteering in my community and playing with my dog Shanti.
